About

Very early on in my life I came to experience the life-giving goodness of Jesus Christ. In a truly mysterious way, I became confident in Jesus’ love for me at the age of 10. As strange as it may sound, I encountered the living Christ really and truly as I prayed in my room one evening, and from that moment forward, I felt a call towards ministry. Throughout middle school and high school, my love for the Gospel continued to grow as my call to ministry began to take shape in my life.

This desire to serve Christ’s Church led me to Moody Bible Institute. The training I received at Moody was extremely formative for me as I was given the opportunity to enjoy the deep things of God through my studies in Bible and theology. Along the way, my eyes were opened to the beauty and wonder of Word and Sacrament that our Lord Jesus Christ so graciously gave to us as a true manifestation of His love. I am so thankful to have been grafted into the rich tapestry that is the body of Christ and to make the Gospel known by participating in the life of the Church.

Ministry Residency

Within the first year of our marriage, my wife and I began to pray and ask the Lord to reveal to us where He wanted us to be after I graduated from Moody. Over the course of the year as we served within the Church, prayed, and studied, the Lord began to shift our gaze and heart to a love for the Anglican Church. During this shift, I was introduced to Gregory House and after much prayer and pastoral council I decided to apply. My time of study at Moody alongside doing ministry within the life of the Church gave me a great love and desire to use the spiritual gifts the Lord has given me.

In my residency, I will be focusing on college and youth ministry at Church of the Resurrection, while also serving in other capacities as needed. I am so excited to participate in our call as believers to foster community that is reflective of Christ and His love for His people. I am thrilled to serve the Church, learn from this ministry experience, and cultivate long-term skills that will carry over into every facet of ministry to which the Lord calls me.
